FAQ
Questions we get every week
What makes this 'authorized' Samsung service?
We're factory-trained on the Samsung residential refrigeration platform, order parts through Samsung's authorized parts channel, and hold EPA Section 608 Universal for the twin-cooling sealed system. Samsung refrigerators — especially the DA97 ice-maker platform — need the redesigned OEM part and a service-mode calibration; aftermarket parts fail within months.
How much does Samsung refrigerator repair cost?
Most Samsung fridge repairs $265–$585 all-in including the $149 trip fee (waived on approval). DA97 ice-maker replacement $325–$485. Evap fan $265–$385. Damper assembly $285–$425. Twin-cooling sealed-system work $850–$1,600 (quoted after pressure test).
The DA97 ice maker keeps failing — what's fixed?
Samsung redesigned the ice-maker assembly (revision series DA97-15217D and up) with a heater ring and modified auger housing. When we replace, we install the current-revision part AND flash the fridge to Force Defrost 3× to clear the pattern. Same-fault-back inside 1 year, we return free.
Family Hub screen out — worth fixing?
Under 5 years — yes, display module is $485–$685. Over 8 years — usually not. We tell you honestly before we order. Cooling and ice-maker function are independent of the screen — if only the screen is dead, the fridge still runs.
Bespoke panel damage — do you replace panels?
Yes — factory-color Bespoke panels through Samsung's parts channel. Panel swap is $65 labor per door plus the panel cost from Samsung.
