Edina is our specialty market
Edina has a higher concentration of luxury and built-in appliances than almost any other Twin Cities suburb. Sub-Zero columns, Wolf dual-fuel ranges, Bosch and Thermador dishwashers, Thermador Pro Grand cooktops, panel-ready Bosch and Liebherr — we see all of them every week. Our senior techs are factory-trained on each of these lines and EPA-certified for the sealed-system work that built-in refrigeration sometimes requires.
We cover every Edina neighborhood from the Country Club District to Indian Hills, Highlands to Morningside, Cornelia to Brookview, plus the homes along France, Wooddale, and Concord. Same-day windows on calls placed before 2pm. We have worked in just about every kitchen design Edina builders have produced over the last 30 years, including the modern open-plans on Wooddale and the deep-set built-ins along France.
What we fix most often in Edina homes
Refrigerator repair is our top Edina call by a wide margin — Sub-Zero column units (IT-30, IT-36, BI-36U) and Designer-line built-ins, Thermador Freedom columns, Bosch Benchmark French-doors, and the Thermador Freedom column series. The work is heavy on sealed-system diagnostics, evaporator fan replacements, ice-maker assemblies, and door-gasket / hinge calibration on panel-ready installs.
Pro-style ranges are a close second: Wolf dual-fuel 36" and 48" ranges, Wolf rangetops with separate wall ovens, Thermador Pro Grand and Pro Harmony, Viking Professional 5 and 7 Series, and BlueStar. Igniter modules, spark electrodes, bake/broil elements, and the touch-control boards on the Wolf E-series and Thermador Pro Grand make up most of the work. Bosch dishwashers — drain pumps, wash pumps, control boards — round out the regular Edina work.
Built-in refrigeration done right
Built-in column refrigerators look like a dream until they fail — and then suddenly the kitchen island has to come apart to swap an evaporator. We do this work the right way: pre-quote in writing, panel removal documented with photos, and the install put back exactly as we found it. Sub-Zero IT-30 / IT-36 column units, BI-36U bottom-freezers, classic 500/600 series, and the current Designer line are all in our wheelhouse.
Honest pricing, no surprises
Flat $129 diagnostic on standard appliances, $149 fridges, $179 built-ins and pro-style — fully waived when you approve the repair. No separate trip charge inside Edina. 1-year parts-and-labor warranty on every completed repair.
Why Edina appliances fail differently
Edina has the highest concentration of pro-style and built-in appliances in the metro — Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Thermador in nearly every Country Club District, Indian Hills, and Highlands kitchen. The failure pattern that defines Edina service is condenser fouling on Sub-Zero columns. Most Edina installs put the column inside cabinetry with a kick-plate intake, and pet hair plus normal kitchen dust will clog that grille within 18 months. A clogged condenser drives compartment temps up by 8-12°F and is the #1 cause of Sub-Zero service calls in Edina — and 80% of those calls don't need any parts at all, just a proper condenser pull-and-clean.
The other Edina-specific pattern: Wolf dual-fuel ranges with intermittent ignition on the gas top and a slow-to-heat electric oven. Both symptoms typically trace to the same DC power supply board that Wolf used across the 30" and 36" units from 2012-2018. We carry that board on every truck running the Edina route.
What we see most on Edina service calls
Edina tickets are skewed toward built-ins. The weekly mix: (1) Sub-Zero 648/650-series condenser cleans and door-gasket replacements throughout the Country Club District and Indian Hills; (2) Wolf dual-fuel range igniter and DC board work; (4) Thermador refrigeration column gasket work in Highlands and Brookview Heights; (5) panel-ready KitchenAid dishwashers — usually wash pump or diverter motor.
Wolf range owners: if your oven is running 25-50°F low or you're getting intermittent ignition on the cooktop, the oven-not-heating guide covers the diagnostic order we'd run on-site.
Service logistics inside Edina
Edina HOAs in the Country Club District and Indian Hills sometimes require advance notice for service vehicles; we coordinate that with your HOA office on request, no charge. Most Edina installs are panel-ready and require careful panel removal before service — our senior built-in tech has the right tooling (no cabinet damage) and budgets the time into the visit.
Same-day cutoff for Edina is 2pm; the 50th & France and Southdale corridors are on every weekday route. Built-in appointments are scheduled in 90-minute windows because column refrigeration and pro-range work genuinely takes longer — we don't oversell speed at the cost of doing the job right.
