Range repair, finished today

A range that quits on a Wednesday is annoying. A range that quits on Thanksgiving morning is a five-alarm event. We schedule for it. Calls placed before 2pm on a weekday typically get a same-day window, and every truck rolls with the most-failed range parts on board: bake elements, broil elements, igniters, gas valves, spark modules, control boards, and the brand-specific parts for Whirlpool, GE, KitchenAid, Samsung, LG, Wolf, Viking, and Thermador.

Range work spans both halves — the cooktop burners and the oven chamber. Our techs diagnose the actual root cause on the first visit and most jobs finish in one trip.

Pro-style range work — Wolf, Viking, Thermador

Pro-style ranges are their own discipline. The Wolf DF dual-fuel, the Viking VGR series, and the Thermador Pro Grand each have specific igniter geometry, gas-valve calibration, and control logic. Our senior cooking-appliance techs are factory-trained on every line. Every gas range repair includes a full safety check on the gas valve, igniter, flame sensor, and an electronic leak-detector pass at the connection — no extra charge, ever.

Honest pricing, written warranty

Flat $129 diagnostic on standard ranges, $179 on pro-style installations — fully waived when you approve the repair. Most range repairs land between $220 and $620 all-in. Pro-style burner-assembly and dual-fuel control work runs higher and is always quoted in writing first. Every completed repair carries a 1-year parts-and-labor warranty.

For complex repairs call professionals like Central Minnesota Appliance Repair to reduce the time and money.

    FAQ

    Range Repair — common questions

Is range repair the same as oven repair?

Not quite. A range is a single appliance that combines a cooktop and an oven; if you have a separate wall oven and cooktop, see our Oven Repair and Cooktop Repair pages instead.

Can you fix Wolf, Viking, and Thermador ranges?

Yes — our senior cooking-appliance techs are factory-trained on Wolf DF dual-fuel, Viking VGR series, and Thermador Pro Grand ranges.

How much does range repair cost?

Flat $129 on standard ranges, $179 on pro-style — both waived when you approve the repair. Most repairs land between $220 and $620 all-in.

Do you handle gas safety checks?

Yes — every gas range repair includes a full safety check on the gas valve, igniter, flame sensor, and an electronic leak-detector pass at the supply connection. No extra charge.

    Do you service dual-fuel ranges?

Yes — including Wolf DF series, Viking dual-fuel, and Thermador Pro Grand. We're trained on both the gas-burner and electric-oven halves.
