Yes. A sooty yellow flame after an NG-to-LP conversion almost always means the wrong orifice set or a manifold pressure that was never re-set. We verify inlet and manifold pressure with a manometer, install the correct LP orifice kit and regulator setting, and re-check every burner. Typical cost is $285–$425 all-in.
