LG covers the linear-inverter compressor part for 10 years from purchase on most refrigerators. The part is free; you pay diagnostic and labor. We pull the serial tag, confirm coverage, and order through LG's parts channel.
Inside the first year, parts and labor both run through LG. If you want factory service we will tell you so plainly rather than charging you for work LG owes you.
Past those windows you pay all-in flat pricing with OEM parts and our own 1-year parts-and-labor warranty — usually faster than the 5–10 day factory scheduling window.

Is my LG linear-inverter compressor covered?
LG's 10-year linear-inverter compressor warranty covers the part on refrigerators sold in the US. Labor is your responsibility (roughly $650–$950 for a compressor R&R). If your fridge is inside 10 years and stopped cooling with no other symptoms, there's a strong chance you qualify — we diagnose free of the trip fee if we file the claim.

What does an LE code on my LG washer mean?
LE is a rotor-lock fault. On direct-drive LG washers it is usually a failed hall sensor or loose stator bolts rather than a dead motor, which is why the repair lands $265–$425 instead of the four-figure motor swap people fear. We test the sensor and stator resistance before quoting.
My LG dryer shows D80 or D90 — is the dryer broken?
No. Those codes are the dryer reporting that 80–90% of the exhaust duct is blocked. Clearing and flow-testing the vent runs $185–$265 and usually restores full dry times. If the heater already burned open from the restriction, add the heater or thermal fuse repair at $225–$385.
