VCBB and VCSB units lose the evaporator fan first — freezer holds, fridge drifts. Condenser fan failure warms both sides. OEM motors on the truck for the common platforms.

Pull the toe-grille and look for dust matting. A blocked condenser mimics a sealed-system failure and is the cheapest thing on this list to rule out.
Put a glass of water with a thermometer on the middle shelf. Fresh food should hold 37–40°F, freezer 0–5°F. Knowing which side drifts saves diagnostic time.
