Samsung DVG gas dryers fail the dual gas-valve coil set (the small coils on top of the gas valve) more often than they fail the igniter. We carry both — coils, igniter, and the flame sensor — for a one-visit fix.
Worn drum rollers, stretched belt, or a blower-wheel hub cracked on the motor shaft cause a screech, a thump, or weak airflow. We do the full bottom-end rebuild (belt + rollers + idler + felt seal) so it doesn't come back in 6 months.
tE means the thermistor is reading out of range. Almost always paired with a clogged dryer vent first — we inspect the vent, replace the thermistor and high-limit, and tell you honestly when the vent is what actually killed the part.
Samsung's moisture-sensor bars in the front lint area get coated with dryer-sheet film and stop reading damp clothes. We clean / replace the sensor and recalibrate.

On a Samsung DVE electric dryer, no-heat is almost always the heating-element coil burned through, paired with an open thermal cut-off. We replace both as a kit — never just one — because the cut-off opened for a reason (usually a clogged vent) and a fresh element by itself will burn out in months. On a DVG gas dryer, the dual gas-valve coils on top of the valve fail more often than the igniter. We carry both element kits and the gas-coil set on every truck.
HC4 means the high-limit thermostat tripped (over-temperature) and tE5 / tE means the thermistor is reading out of range. In 80%+ of cases the underlying cause is a clogged dryer vent, not a bad part. We inspect the vent first — a clogged vent that we don't address will kill the new thermistor in months. If the vent is clean and the thermistor is bad, we replace it with the OEM part.

That's the moisture sensor giving a false 'dry' reading. The two metal sensor strips inside the front lint area get coated with a film from dryer sheets and fabric softener and stop detecting damp clothes. We clean / replace the sensor and recalibrate the dryer. Switch to a HE-only detergent and skip the dryer sheets after the repair to keep it from coming back.
