Quick answer

Food Truck and Mobile Kitchen Repair

Food truck appliance repair across the Twin Cities covers LP-gas fryers, griddles, ranges, and charbroilers; 12V/120V refrigeration (True, Norlake, Beverage-Air); water systems and hand-sink pumps; and hood-adjacent electrical (not the generator itself). LP-certified for propane-side work. Season-ready inspections in April, event-weekend triage in-season. Commercial diagnostic $199, credited on approval. Most repairs $285–$685 all-in. 1-yr parts-and-labor warranty.

Repair vs. replace

Why commercial repair pays back fast

Event weekends can't wait for a normal service window

In-season, event-day triage takes priority. Tell dispatch you have a Friday event and we work backward from your call time.

LP-certified — a propane leak is a life-safety issue

LP gas leak diagnosis with a combustible-gas detector on every visit. Regulator, hose, and quick-connect service done in-house.

Mobile-friendly parts pack

Truck-stocked with the top-failure parts for True, Norlake, and Beverage-Air refrigeration plus LP-compatible thermocouples and regulators — most calls finish single-visit even at a curbside event.

If your equipment is down right now

Food truck triage before you call

  1. 1. Verify LP tank valve and regulator

Confirm the propane tank valve is fully open and the regulator is not frost-jammed (common in cold weather). Do not use a lighter to check leaks — soapy water only.

  2. 2. Check the shore power or generator load

For 120V refrigeration and lighting, verify the truck is on shore power or the generator is delivering a stable load. Voltage drop kills compressors on hot days.

  3. 3. Snap photos of any warning lights or controller displays

Photograph controllers on refrigeration, water heater, and range electronics.

  4. 4. Call commercial dispatch — event-weekend priority

    (651) 364-7466. Tell dispatch it's a food truck and whether an event is at risk — we triage accordingly.

FAQs

Common questions from operators

Do you work on food trucks on-site at events?

Yes when the location is safely accessible. Curbside and lot-side service is standard in-season; large festival gate access varies and dispatch will confirm before rolling.

Are you LP gas certified?

Yes. LP-appropriate regulators, thermocouples, hoses, and quick-connects. Combustible-gas detector leak-check on every visit.

Do you service the generator itself?

No — generator engines and inverters are outside our scope. We do service everything downstream of the generator: 120V refrigeration, cooking equipment, water pumps, and hood-adjacent electrical.

What does a season-ready inspection cost?

$285 flat rate. Includes LP leak-check, regulator verification, refrigeration seal and gasket, thermostat calibration, water-system leak-down, and a documented report for the health department.
